LIS 5603 - Introduction to Information Services

Tonight was my first class of the summer session. The description on FSU's course description site is:

Introduction to reference work using both print and online sources; relationship of reference work to other information services in libraries and other information-providing agencies.

The class's Blackboard website is a little convoluted, but I think this will be a really useful class. We get to do a practice reference interview on someone we know, answer real reference questions submitted to the Internet Public Library, and assorted other reference work-related assignments.
