I can't believe that in a couple short weeks I'll be starting my last semester of graduate school. This week I'll be getting everything in order to start my internship. I need to run to the doctor's office today and get my TB test read so that hopefully they'll say it's negative and give me a print-out that I can bring tomorrow morning to my "teachers-in-training" on-boarding session at the LCPS personnel office. Tomorrow morning I'll do that, be re-fingerprinted, get a new badge, and probably have to watch the hazardous waste spill clean-up video again.
I had hoped to be able to take the VCLA (Virginia Communication and Literacy Assessment) this week, but there were no open spots at the test center for this week or next. The earliest opening that I'd be able to go to was Saturday January 22, at 4:15 pm, so I signed up for it then. This is the last test I need to take (I think) in order to be eligible for a Virginia teaching license. That should give me more time to review for it, which I guess is nice.
