Yay!!

1) I got an A on my digital story project. Yay! I got a lot of good feedback on mine, and everyone really seemed to like it.

2) I taught my lesson on Boolean operators (three times) to a bunch of 8th grade students. Yay!

This is the Prezi I made to use in the lesson. It's nothing fancy, and I only used it for about 10 minutes out of the 60 minute lesson, but Prezi is fun!

That first screen with the three columns was used as a warm-up before the lecture portion started. All the students had one playing card at their seat and I had them stand up based on what I described (red AND an even number/red AND an even number/red NOT an even number/etc.). The Prezi was projected on to a Promethean white board, so with that first screen up, I wrote the numbers of students who stood up on the white board in the appropriate column based on whether I said AND, OR, or NOT.
